Guest Sax Man: Lee Goodall
Hampshire born Lee Goodall moved to New York in 1978 and worked with a host of the city’s most creative musicians including Melvin Gibbs, Guillermo Franco and Jack Walrath and recorded with Steve Gadd and Marcus Miller. After his return to Britain he played with musicians of the calibre of Don Weller, Peter King and Andy Sheppard, Alan Skidmore, Stan Tracey, Keith Tippett, John Taylor and did a two-year stint with Van Morrison. Lee, a multi-instrumentalist, also teaches, runs his own recording studio, Oakfield Studios in Newport and recently has been working with legendary Cram lyricist Pete Brown.
